Creating a life that matters
Purpose and Potential
There is a beautiful quote from Carolyn Myss:
“Let go of the life you thought you should have and embrace the life that’s working it’s way into your consciousness.”
Do you feel like you have another life working it’s way into your consciousness? In the chaos and perpetual motion of life, do you ever quietly ask yourself “Is this what I’m meant to be doing?” Or perhaps more painfully “Is this who I’m meant to be?”
Maybe not. You need to be brave to ask those questions – and even more courageous to deal with the answers. I know. I avoided them for so long, until I reached breaking point and had no choice but to do the work to find the answers.
We fear a meaningless life. We fear coming to the end of it and not having found or lived our purpose – and not having been the amazing person we were truly capable of being. We want to be the very best version of ourselves possible – we want to make a difference – we want a life that matters. It’s just sometimes we’re not sure how to make that happen.
